Back to School

Just the other day, I spent time with a group of people getting their concealed carry permit. I always have fun speaking at these classes because it is a very inner active class where they get to try the three basic techniques for self defense instead of just listening to me talk.

Shane Dodd, my partner and instructor for the class has been gracious enough to allow me to come in and provide a few more options to the students before they have to pull out a deadly weapon. By the way, if you know of anyone interested in obtaining a license to carry a concealed weapon, Shane has the best prices in town! The eight hour course is just $50 and that covers range time as well... But I digress.

Anyway during the class I had some people come up and demonstrate what I had just taught them. I just want to say Heather did a great job learning the open hand to the face technique really well, and her mom Susan quickly learned what to do if she were attacked from behind.
I don't think I will have to worry about these two ladies protecting themselves on the streets. I really had a good time with you and the rest of the class.

If there is anyone out there with questions, concerns, or you want lessons, please leave me a comment, follow my blog, or tell someone else about it. I am here to help.
